The Mission is to search the four corners of the world for rare items and make them available for avid collectors of quality artifacts.
Company Profile
Aunt Meriam’s is one of
the finest antique and collectible shops in New York City.
It is located on the famous
125th Street
in
Harlem
. A walk into Aunt Meriam’s
is a walk into your grand mother’s home. It
is full of Black memorabilia, glassware, bric-a-brac, African art, books, albums
and unusual items from the 18th, 19th and 20th
centuries.
Aunt Meriam’s is an
educational experience for both New Yorkers and out-of-towners.
Everyone from set designers to movie producers, interior decorators,
tourists, collectors, antique dealers and lovers of Black memorabilia shop at Aunt
Meriam’s.
The community calls it a museum
which preserves and sells Black history. The
tourists call it a
Mecca
, a place they must go to when visiting
New York City
. For collectors, it is a haven which they must check out because they never
know what they will find.
Aunt Meriam’s
