DESCRIPTION:

This green and white drum was given as a gift by Evita Peron to young people.  Items like this was given by her to the masses and were a part of the reason why she was so popular.  She was criticized for giving gifts to the people instead of food.  Black musicians with large eyes and large lips are depicted on the drum.

Beautiful colorful bust of a black woman.  It was found in a flea market in Argentina .

Hand painted figurine made out of pecan.  Each mold is hand painted, signed and one of a kind.  The artist is Jackie Hallum.

DESCRIPTION:

This hand carved African drum is made in the image of a female.  The drum has a crack in the side and is aged and weather-beaten.  It came to America in the 20th century.
